Robert L. Myette was born and raised in Oshawa, Ontario and headed off to Wilfrid Laurier University for his undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry. Thereafter, he came to Queen’s to do a Master’s in the Department of Pathology and Molecular Medicine. Following his Master’s Thesis he went to Krakow, Poland to pursue his medical training at Jagiellonian University, College of Medicine. He is beyond thrilled to be back at Queen’s to do his Paediatrics residency. His career interests include academic paediatrics, specifically research and teaching. His specific clinical interests are in Nephrology, as well as Infectious Disease, and he plans to sub-specialize in Nephrology after completing his training at Queen’s.
